The 5 Best Xbox Shooting Games
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Dean_Walsh]Dean Walsh
1 - Mass Effect 2:
Released in 2006 Mass Effect is still one of the best and most popular shooting games for the Xbox console. It has a strong role playing element rather than the straight up shoot outs of some first person shooter games, so there is a whole wolrd for you to explore and get involved in, making it a rich and rewarding game that you will be playing for ages and so get good value for money from it.
2 - Halo 3 ODST:
The Halo games have been massive right from the beginning and number 3 in the series won't be any different. Great graphics, great gameplay, great characters and story. For gamers who have played the previous 2 Halo releases this one includes a new hero, campaigns, and new tactics, weapons and technology for you to play with.
3 - Gear of War:
Despite the fact that it's starting to get on a bit now, perhaps just beginning to enter its middle age, Gears of War is still up there in the top list for me. It it visually impressive with a great storyline and cool graphics and is great fun to play.
4 - Grand Theft Auto 4:
Not just a shooting game of course, there's also al the crazy driving and other stuff, but it's such good fun that I had to include it here even though its a different kind of game to the others.
5 - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
I haven't actually been able to play this one yet as I'm writing this in October 2009 and it's not released until November 2009, but as a Call of Duty game you know its going to be visually stunning and exciting and bloody to play.
